Who we are
AngkolTech is an IT services firm based in Davao City, Philippines. This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- Inquiry details you submit through our contact form, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
- Basic technical data recorded by our hosting provider when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and reliability.
- Client data that you share with us to deliver a service, such as documents for a Private AI deployment or systems covered by a backup plan. This is governed by your service agreement.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare proposals.
- To deliver, support and bill for the services you engage us for.
- To keep this website and our systems secure.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third party advertising.
Private AI and client documents
Documents you provide for a Private AI deployment are processed only to deliver that service to you. They are never used to train public AI models, are kept separate from other clients' data, and are returned or deleted at the end of the engagement on request.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to operate, including our website and edge hosting provider and the customer relationship management platform that hosts our inquiry form. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes. The inquiry form may set cookies that it needs to work.
Analytics and advertising
We may measure visits and the performance of our ads with Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tags. When enabled, these set cookies to count visits and to tell us which ad or search led to an inquiry. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these tags run in a restricted mode that does not store cookies. Campaign details in a page address, such as utm or gclid parameters, may be passed to our inquiry form so we know how you found us.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the engagement and applicable legal requirements require.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us through our contact page and mark your message as a privacy request. You may also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
Changes
We may update this notice as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
